SUMTER COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - One person has died after a a single-vehicle crash in Sumter County.

According to the Alabama Law enforcement Agency (ALEA), 35-year-old LaTorrey L. Law was killed when her vehicle left the roadway and overturned Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 10:19 p.m. on Alabama 17 near the 132 mile marker.

Authorities say Law was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from her vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, ALEA is continuing to investigate the crash.
