Pak teen gets 100 years for killing four family members

LAHORE, Sep 24: A Pakistani court sentenced 17-year-old Zain Ali to a 100-year prison term for killing his mother, brother, and two sisters in a violent outburst connected to his obsessive playing of PubG, an online game. The incident occurred in 2022, and Additional Sessions Judge Riaz Ahmed imposed the sentence based on evidence presented by the prosecution, assigning four life sentences of 25 years each for the four murders, along with a fine of PkR 4 million. Zain, described as a dedicated PubG player, was reportedly scolded by his mother for wasting time on the game and reacted aggressively after missing a target and being reprimanded. In a fit of rage, he used his mother’s pistol to shoot while she and his sisters were asleep.
