A Connecticut mother was caught in her tracks when she recently came home to catch a bear actively breaking into her house as her teenage daughter slept inside.

“I came home and noticed that the whole screen door was broken, the metal pieces bent,” Michele Lemis of Simsbury told NBC Connecticut exclusively about the Sunday, Sept. 21 incident.
