Big Sandy hosts fall cleanup event for bulky household items

BIG SANDY, Texas (KETK) -- Big Sandy residents can participate in the city's fall cleanup event this weekend, where they can dispose of bulky household items.

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, with dumpsters available between Austin Bank and the U.S. Post Office. Residents are encouraged to bring items such as furniture, mattresses and scrap metal for disposal.

To participate, residents must bring a copy of their water or sewer bill as proof of residency. This requirement ensures that only Big Sandy residents can take advantage of the cleanup services.
