HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - The Challenger Learning Center of Kentucky is teaming up with Morehead State University’s Center for STEM+eXcellence and Dataseam to expand aerospace education opportunities for students in Eastern Kentucky.
The new partnership will bring Space Prep, a one-day workshop designed to inspire high school girls to pursue aerospace and engineering, to the Hazard facility for the first time. Previously, the program was only offered at Morehead State University, limiting access to schools within about an hour’s drive.
