BLOOMINGTON ( 25News Now ) - The McLean County Coroner has released the identity of a driver after a crash reportedly into a home in Bloomington.

The preliminary autopsy opinion from coroner Kathy Yoder said Jessica J. Wimp, 24, of Bloomington, died from multiple blunt injuries because of a vehicle hitting a fixed object.

Wimp reportedly was the driver of a vehicle that left the road and hit a tree.

Toxicology testing is pending, Yoder said.

Bloomington first responders were called around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday to the 400 block of West Graham Street.

Bloomington firefighters worked to extricate Wimp. Due to the severity of the crash, police said the county accident reconstruction team was requested.

Wimp was pronounced deceased at the scene.
