Finneas O'Connell and his longtime love, Claudia Sulewski, are planning to wed. The singer-producer has popped the question to his actor/influencer partner after seven years of dating. The couple announced on Wednesday that they had become engaged on Monday 22 September. "Forever and ever 9.22," the Instagram caption read. The social media post included several snaps from the romantic sunset proposal, plus a video of the couple in a helicopter heading to the proposal site. Sulewski also shared a few photos of her stunning new cushion-cut diamond engagement ring. The Grammy-winning artist - who is Billie Eilish's brother and frequent collaborator - first met YouTuber Sulewski on a dating app in 2018. In 2019, he told BuzzFeed that he wrote the song Claudia within hours of meeting his now-fiancée, and sent her parts of the song that night. With lyrics including, "I think you're gonna change my plans / With those emerald eyes / But you don't even understand / How much they're on my mind," it seems the relationship was off to a flying start. Since they began dating, the couple have also collaborated creatively. In 2022, Sulewski was O'Connell's muse for his song Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa, the intimate, phone-recorded music video for which she starred in and directed.
