SAN RAMON, Calif. (KRON) -- Arrests have been made following the robbery of a San Ramon Jewelry Store on Monday. Police say around 30 people were involved in the robbery of Heller Jewelers at the City Center Bishop Rach Shopping Center.

The suspects got away with $1 million worth of jewelry.

It was a scary scene at Heller Jewelers in San Ramon, when around 25 people in masks ran inside stealing jewelry while another 6 waited outside in getaway cars.

This was the scene at Heller Jewelers just before 2 p.m. Monday when around 25 people in masks ran inside.

Some were holding guns, while others with pickaxes smashed into the jewelry cases. Ashley Moore with the San Ramon Police Department describes it as a mob-style takeover.
