Attendance at the Illinois State Fair and Du Quoin State Fair broke records this year, providing a major economic benefit to the communities.
Illinois State Fairs Draw Record Crowd
In a press release on Monday (9/22), Governor JB Pritzker announced that combined attendance at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield and the Du Quoin State Fair surpassed 1 million in 2025.
"Illinois state fairs are a part of a time-honored tradition for generations of famalies," Pritzker said. "This year's attendance figures are proof of the enduring value of state fairs."
Strong Numbers for State Fair in Springfield
The Illinois State Fair in Springfield drew 723,079 people, the second-largest turnout in its history, according to the press release.
