SANTA ANA — A former Orange County Sheriff’s Department deputy pleaded guilty Wednesday and was immediately sentenced to time served in custody and one year of informal probation for molesting two female jail inmates and showing them illicit videos of himself.

Arcadio Rodriguez , 33, of Stanton, engaged in an “inappropriate relationship” with two jailed women at the Theo Lacy Facility in Orange, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Cynthia Herrera sentenced Rodriguez to 364 days in jail, but he had credit for that time in custody under home confinement, according to court records. Herrera ordered the defendant to register as a sex offender for at least 10 years, according to court records.

Rodriguez was arrested in August 2022. H
