New Delhi : The Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested a man who reportedly provided logistical support to terrorists who carried out the Pahalgam attack. The attack happened on April 22 and left 26 people dead. Among the dead were 25 Indians and 1 Nepali national.

Arrest after forensic analysis

The man identified as Mohammad Katari was arrested after a forensic analysis of weapons and equipment recovered during a raid in July, when the Army and Police carried out ‘Operation Mahadev’, reported NDTV . During this operation, the security forces also tracked down and killed 2 gunmen involved in the heinous attack on tourists in Pahalgam.

The attack took place in Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam, which is a popular tourist spot.

Katari will be produced in court soon and will be sent to judic
