BURLINGTON, Ky. —

The man accused of shooting at landscapers and police officers from a home in Union, Kentucky, has been moved to a different jail.

Investigators said Bader Jibrini, 47, shot at landscapers from a house, sparking a large police presence in the Triple Crown neighborhood in June. Advertisement

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said the landscapers were there to serve another house and had parked in front of Jibrini’s house, on the street.

The shots fired prompted an hours long standoff with police and a SWAT team . Boone County Sheriff's Lt. Philip Ridgell said shortly after deputies arrived, Jibrini fired shots and deputies fired back before he surrendered and was taken into custody.
