WILMINGTON, Ohio (WXIX) - Caesar Creek Flea Market posted on their social media that Nov. 30 will be their final day of operation.

That post has nearly 2,000 shares and hundreds of comments, most of which are sad or upset. But those most upset are the vendors who made their livelihood at the market.

One of those vendors includes Paul Pollitti, who sold at Caesar Creek for 40 years.

“I’m not finished. I’m going to get out there, even if I have to do it on my own, I will start my own flea market,” Pollit said.

Pollitt has been a vendor at Caesar Creek Flea Market since he was 16 years old. What started as a young hobby selling antique watches turned into a lifelong passion.
