CLEVELAND, Ohio — Rookie quarterback Cam Ward offered his full support for the team’s decision to shift play-calling duties to assistant coach Bo.
Far from viewing the mid-season change as disruptive, Ward provided compelling insights into why this adjustment might be exactly what the struggling offense needs.
Ward didn’t hesitate when asked about the change, immediately expressing confidence in both the decision and the new play-caller.
“I don’t think it’s been an issue. I think the the biggest thing is that coach just has so much to deal with. Um, and it’s probably it’s probably hard for him to, you know, give a play call. He’s one of the best play callers out there. Um, but he has a lot of important decisions to make for, you know, us to win games. And I just think him giving that up
