Pine-Richland coach Jordan Wiegand says his team has proven itself to be a real collective as the No. 3 Rams (10-1-1, 3-1-1) picked up their 10th win of the season thanks to Molly Baker’s overtime winner as they picked up a 1-0 win on the road at Butler (4-5-1, 0-4-1) in Section 3.
“It’s definitely been a collective team effort on both sides of the ball,” Wiegand said. “One of the things I pride myself on most is keeping clean sheets, keeping the defense hungry for something, and also getting them involved in the attack, which we’ve done this year, which is nice. That way, if it breaks at times, we’re more than confident to attack opponents and get more goals as well.”
