Dr Amir Khan has attracted a wave of support after speaking out about a topic he admitted he 'thinks about every day'. The popular TV doctor took to social media to have his voice heard.
He was discussing women's health - especially those suffering in areas involved in conflict or who are refugees. He highlighted a range of health challenges faced by women in hugely challenging circumstances around the world.
He said he 'advocates for women's health' because 'these women don't stop being women in war. Their bodies don't pause, their cycles, their pain, their suffering, even when the world around them is collapsing'.
"I always say I advocate for women and women's health, " he said in the emotion video, including the caption 'something I think about every day'. Content cannot
