A 29-year-old North Texas man has been identified as the suspect who opened fire on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas on Wednesday morning, killing one detainee and critically injuring two others before taking his own life, officials said.

Joshua Jahn died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after firing a rifle at the ICE Field Office building from a nearby rooftop, authorities have said. He was publicly identified by several senior law enforcement officials , according to KXAS-TV.

Federal authorities earlier in the day had said two detainees were killed.

Jahn was most recently connected with an address in Durant, Oklahoma, but has also lived in Collin County in North Texas, according to public records.
