Thousands of revelers gathered in Harlem on Sept. 21 for the Annual African American Day Parade (AADP), now in its 56th year.
The two-mile parade route stretched along Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, featured the best New York’s Black community had to offer: marching bands, community organizations, performance groups, floats, fraternities and sororities, and civil servants. Numerous celebrities and public figures appeared too.
