Bengaluru: Beware! Next time you drive past Trinity Circle, your vehicle number could flash on a digital billboard if you have unpaid challans or an expired PUC certificate.

Bengaluru Traffic Police, along with CrashFreeIndia, a Cars24 road safety initiative, have set up a smart display that shows traffic violations in real time.

Using AI-enabled cameras, the system captures registration numbers from nearly 100 meters away, fetches details from the VAHAN database, and highlights pending e-challans, expired PUCs, or other lapses on the screen.
