(Reuters) -Australian oil and gas producer Woodside Energy is teaming up with Japan Suiso Energy (JSE) and utility firm Kansai Electric Power Co (KEPCO) to develop a liquid hydrogen supply chain between the two countries, the companies said on Thursday.

The companies have signed a memorandum of understanding to supply liquid hydrogen produced at Woodside’s proposed H2Perth project in Western Australia via liquid hydrogen carriers to receiving terminals in Japan.
