M uch to the aching breaking hearts of Parrotheads worldwide, Jimmy Buffett sailed onward several years ago. As always, time never stops.

Neither does the indelibly hopeful music of the late Jimmy Buffett. Enter Key West. They return to Paramount Bristol in downtown Bristol on Friday, Sept. 26. Recall their previous beach-loving visit to Bristol, which heralded Buffett’s half-century of life-embracing music.

Key West remain well-ensconced in Buffett’s music and evocation of his lifestyle. They’re not wasting away. Instead, a celebration of such material as “Come Monday” and “A Pirate Looks at Forty” helps to press pause on whatever momentary issues one may be experiencing during these trying times.
