Complaints about insurance nearly doubled in the second half of 2025 compared with the first, according to a report released on Wednesday by Insurance Samadhan, a privately run grievance redressal platform. The Q2 2025 Trends Report flagged mis-selling and claim disputes as the most common issues. Complaints rose from 684 in Q1 to 974 in Q2, a 45% increase.
