A coastal town in one of the UK's most famously picturesque counties has been likened to somewhere near Chernobyl, despite properties selling for just over £250,000.
YouTuber Turdtowns described Ilfracombe in Devon by saying: "For some reason, people still hold this place in high regard, even though its glory years have long since passed."
He noted that during his most recent visit, it was "bad, but not as bad as I remembered it being". In essence, little had altered in the locality, with its primary characteristic being a street lined with "huge, disgusting, boarded up hotels".
