SHREVEPORT, La. — A Shreveport woman says her late-night drive home turned dangerous after rocks were thrown at her car while she drove under the Hearn Avenue underpass.

Shaniqua Davis told police that as she approached the underpass late Wednesday night, a hail of rocks struck her vehicle, shattering the windshield and denting the hood and front bumper. Glass from the windshield scattered inside her car, but she was not injured. Repairs are estimated at roughly $1,000.

“I kind of froze,” Davis said. “Somebody else should be paying out of their pocket. Patrol the area. Hold them accountable.”

Davis says she saw a man running near train tracks after the attack. She described him as a Black male wearing a white T-shirt.
