GRESHAM, Ore. (KPTV) - A mother is on edge after learning a man charged in the murder of her son was mistakenly let out of jail.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the 26-year-old suspect, who posted bail despite not being eligible to do so.
“It’s been an emotional rollercoaster for the last four years. My world stopped the day my son died,” said mother Jodie Ramsey.
Ramsey said that the roller coaster has spiraled for the worse, after one of the suspects in her son’s killing was mistakenly allowed to post bail and released from the Multnomah County detention center.
“It’s a major mess up, it’s a monumental mistake that should have never occurred,” said Ramsey.
