A storm of anger has erupted among fans of late Assamese music icon Zubeen Garg after his iconic Assamese track Mayabini was abruptly removed from major audio streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, and Gaana.

The controversy comes at a time when millions of grieving admirers have been revisiting the singer’s body of work as a tribute, making the sudden disappearance of one of his most cherished songs particularly distressing.

According to official records, the rights to Garg’s musical catalog are managed by Zubeen Garg Music LLP (LLPIN - AAZ 5718), which has two designated directors—Zubeen Garg himself and his long-time manager Siddharth Sharma (DIN 09409035).
