The Viksit Bharat Run 2025 is being held in more than 150 locations across 91 countries as part of Seva Pakhwada. Organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, this first-of-its-kind initiative is running from September 17 to October 2.

The run, themed ‘Run to Serve the Nation,’ will cover 3–5 km at iconic and accessible locations worldwide. Most events are scheduled for 28 September, with landmarks including Mexico City’s Angel of Independence, the UNESCO World Heritage site in Paramaribo, Suriname, and the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

The initiative seeks to bring together Indians living abroad, local communities, students, and professionals to reaffirm their commitment to India’s vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
