Today is our best opportunity for rain across the entire viewing area. Showers will continue to develop for the morning hours, with embedded heavy showers. This is in addition to areas of fog, mist, and drizzle. Showers will be off-and-on throughout this morning and afternoon, with even a few thunderstorms possible for the afternoon. Total rain amounts will vary between 0.2″ to 1.0″ by tonight.

Conditions clear for Friday and Saturday with temperatures in the middle to upper 70s. Saturday will feature increasing clouds by evening, and a few stray showers are possibly by Saturday night especially in southern countie
