SICKENING sexual abuse has landed a special needs teacher in prison after she sexually coerced a vulnerable teenage student.

Sandy Carazas-Pines, 36, will spend 25 years behind bars after she spent three months persuading a vulnerable child into a sexual relationship with her.

The former New York City public school teacher led her 16-year-old student from the city-funded Yonkers school to believe they were in a romantic relationship over the period between November 2022 to February 2023.
