THE Baltimore Ravens have suffered a significant blow as they prepare to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

They will be without their star defensive end as they travel to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Nnamdi Madubuike, 27, has been ruled out of their upcoming game.

He has suffered a neck injury.

Head coach John Harbaugh , 63, has shed further light on Madubuike's unavailability.

"I would say I am concerned about it," Harbaugh said. "But I'm not really in a position to comment on it right now.

"I haven't been given the OK to comment on it at this point."

No timeline has been given on Madubuike's potential return to action with the Ravens .

He faces a potentially long-term lay-off.
