PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles finally featured A.J. Brown in Sunday’s win against the Rams. The confounding part, for Brown and fans alike, is it took them two-and-a-half games to do so.

“I think it just kind of took too long to get there — or to adjust, I should say — with all of us, not just the coaches but the players, as well,” Brown said Wednesday at the NovaCare Complex. “We like to always say, ‘Take what they give us.’ But at times, we can take whatever we want.”

In Week 3, the Eagles had to go out and take it. They had to attack, and they did, targeting Brown, quieting critics and pulling off a thrilling comeback win over Los Angeles.

Facing a 19-point deficit in the third quarter, the Eagles opened up their playbook, and Brown, the three-time All-Pro receiver, thrived as a result.
