Thurmont Commissioner Bill Blakeslee has objected to a statement from the town police chief about an incident between the commissioner and a police officer, calling it “very slanderous.”

Thurmont Police Chief David Armstrong posted a statement to social media on Tuesday morning and said the Frederick County Administrative Charging Committee cleared the town police officer of misconduct allegations.
