The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program would love to get a move on talking about migration with its latest nature walk.

“Our city is located within one of the four major flyways in North America, which means we are fortunate to see a wide variety of bird species at different times of the year,” said park interpreter Genevieve Mathieu.

This migration-themed nature walk will take place Oct. 9, meeting outside the Nature Centre at 3:30 p.m. There is no charge associated with the program and registration is not required.

This program aims to celebrate the region’s flying friends and their incredible journeys while sharing simple strategies to make cities more bird-friendly.
