The star of the 1987 blockbuster “Titanic” could have been an actor named Lenny Williams.
But Leonardo DiCaprio decided to stick with his original name.
DiCaprio, now one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, appeared Wednesday on the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast and told the story of how he was once advised to change his name.
When asked about what he considered a “holy s---” moment in his career, DiCaprio told hosts Jason and Travis Kelce that when he was a child actor, he was told by an agent that his name was “too ethnic.”
