Stirling plays host to Scotland’s Largest Recovery Walk this Saturday, September 27.
The free national event is dedicated to challenging stigma, celebrating recovery, and making recovery visible by supporting individuals, families, and communities impacted by alcohol and drug use.
Organised by the Scottish Recovery Consortium, the event takes place from 11am to 4pm, and is free and open to all.
The day begins with a poignant remembrance ceremony beside Stirling Old Bridge, where roses will be placed into the River Forth in memory of those lost to addiction.
The ceremony will be followed by a vibrant recovery procession through the city, culminating in a celebratory gathering at King’s Park.
