Motorists in Killin are still left in the dark about the future of a petrol station that's been out of service since it was hit by a severe storm in January.
The Lix Toll Fuel Station on the A85 has been closed for nearly nine months now, forcing local drivers to make a 40-mile detour to Callander and Tyndrum just to fill up their tanks.
Owned by fuel distributor Certas, the station's prolonged closure has caused considerable inconvenience, with no word from the company on when it might reopen, much to the dismay of residents, the village community council and one local councillor.
Chairman of the Killin Community Council, Andy Aitken, expressed their bafflement at the ongoing situation.
