Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated Sunstream Green Energy’s 140 MWp distributed solar project in Maharashtra.

The inauguration was part of a nationwide rollout of 2,458 MW of renewable energy projects, reinforcing India’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2070.

Founded in 2019 by Mr. Bhadra Kanaiya and backed by Lighthouse Trust, a Singapore-based growth fund, Sunstream Green Energy has rapidly emerged as a key player in India’s renewable energy sector. With 250 MW already operational and another 250 MW under execution, the company now aims to scale its portfolio to 1 GW of operating assets within the next 18–24 months.
