Daniel, the 10-year-old son of Fasil Arega Wolbemarian, faced one of his hardest challenges two and a half years ago. He was diagnosed with childhood cancer. Now 12, a student, and dreaming of professional soccer, Daniel is healthy and back doing what he loves.

First lady Brittany Beshear, UK Health and others joined multiple families to acknowledge the work of UK’s Kentucky Children’s Hospital and Markey Cancer Foundation for children statewide.
