One of the two men arrested in a high-risk takedown by Greater Sudbury Police officers in Chelmsford two years ago has pleaded guilty to three of nine charges.
“I should have got a (firearms) licence before I got the gun from my mom,” Chad Landry told Ontario Court Justice Tanya Farkouh Martin via Zoom link in Sudbury court. “I’m sorry, and it won’t happen again.”

“I think there was more (going on) than just possessing guns for you and your family,” Farkouh Martin told Landry. “These are serious charges against you. There was a high-risk takedown by police. They were very concerned about the safety of the public, and you did put the public at risk by engaging in the actions you were involved in.”
