SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- A Rapid City man has been found guilty of attempting to entice a minor following a two-day jury trial in federal court.
In a news release by the U.S. Department of Justice, Brandon Bishop, 38, has been charged with a mandatory minimum of 10 years up to life in custody and/or a $250,000 fine. The verdict was returned Tuesday.
According to court documents, Bishop was arrested and indicted in August 2024 following the annual undercover operation targeting online predators during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
