Chesterfield County police have arrested a Richmond man in connection with a road rage shooting that happened earlier this month along Midlothian Turnpike.
Police arrested Armardi A. Johnson, 25, of Richmond, on Wednesday and charged him with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting at an occupied vehicle and shooting from a vehicle. Johnson is being held in Chesterfield County Jail without bond.
On Saturday, Sept. 13, police responded at 5:15 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 12200 block of Midlothian Turnpike. Officers arrived on scene and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound that was considered non-life-threatening.
