(WHTM) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of more than 100,000 window blinds due to strangulation and entanglement hazards.

According to CPSC, approximately 133,000 Persilux Zebra Blinds have been recalled because they have long operating cords that can cause death or serious injury to children due to strangulation and entanglement hazards.

Specifically, CPSC says these blinds violate the federal rule for window coverings in addition to violating labeling requirements for window coverings.
