India pacer Jasprit Bumrah has publicly responded to former cricketer Mohammad Kaif ’s remarks on his workload management, dismissing his claims as inaccurate. On Thursday evening, Kaif raised concerns about how Bumrah was being used in white-ball cricket. Referring to the Asia Cup, he pointed out that under Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy, Bumrah bowled three overs with the new ball rather than saving himself for the death overs. “Bumrah under Rohit would generally bowl overs 1, 13, 17, 19.
