Satish Sharma, Cabinet Minister Incharge of Food Supplies & Consumer Affairs, today chaired a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, to review the winter stocking arrangements for food supplies and essential commodities across the Union Territory.

The meeting was attended by senior officials including the Commissioner Secretary, Director Food & Supplies Kashmir, Director Food & Supplies Jammu, all Assistant Directors, Director Finance (Food & Supplies), and the Special Secretary, Food & Supplies.

During the review, the Minister emphasized the need for adequate and timely stocking of food grains, LPG, kerosene, and other essential items, particularly in snow-bound and far-flung areas, to ensure uninterrupted supplies during the upcoming winter months.
