Goalkeeping coach Darryl Flahavan will be leaving Plymouth Argyle after the away game against Burton Albion on Saturday to join Championship club Sheffield Wednesday.
Argyle are close to appointing a replacement for Flahavan but head coach Tom Cleverley admitted it had been a 'challenging process' over a number of weeks due to the club's location in the far south-west of England.
In the meantime former Argyle first team goalkeeping coach Rhys Wilmot, who now works within the club's academy, will be tasked with putting Luca Ashby-Hammond, Conor Hazard and Zak Baker through their paces ahead of the game against Ryan Lowe's Wigan Athletic at Home Park next Saturday (October 4).
