CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of a minor this week after a sexual assault investigation. The teen, whose name was not released due to their age, faces felony charges.

Detectives determined that the minor allegedly forced another person to engage in sexual acts while the victim was physically helpless and unable to give consent. The sexual assaults reportedly took place across multiple instances in Clifton Park throughout April, May, and June.

Deputies arrested the teen on September 23 and charged them with two counts of first-degree rape and one count of first-degree sexual abuse. The minor was arraigned at Saratoga County Court's youth division before being released ahead of further proceedings.
