Metro Boomin finally got his day in court, and the superproducer didn’t tiptoe around his words when it came to defending himself against rape allegations.
Testifying in a Los Angeles federal courtroom on Wednesday (Sept. 24), the 32-year-old admitted to jurors that although he did have two consensual encounters with plaintiff Vanessa LeMaistre back in 2016, he always used protection and it’s “no way” he sexually assaulted her.
“I’ve been thinking about this day for a year,” he responded when his lawyer, Lawrence Hinkle, asked if he’d been wrongly accused. Looking directly at the jury, he doubled down: “For her to accuse me of something like this, it’s something I could never fathom. No way in the world.”
