The Chhattisgarh High Court on Tuesday directed the CBI to proceed with the FIR it had registered following the court’s directions in 2020 in connection with a case of alleged misappropriation of funds granted by the State Resource Centre (SRC) for the rehabilitation of disabled people.

At the time, one of the respondents had gone to the Supreme Court against the High Court order, which the apex court then stayed and set back to the HC, asking it to consider the matter again afresh.
