CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — Harrison Circuit Judge Joseph F. Shaffer Jr. on Thursday sentenced a 47-year-old Bridgeport woman to 2 to 10 years of home incarceration for driving while under the influence into a work zone, seriously injuring a Division of Highways worker.
Shaffer cited Kiley Michelle Wagner's lack of prior criminal history, her trouble-free performance on bail, what the court deemed as genuine remorse, and her efforts to found a nonprofit that would use federal grants and private funding to create an app to provide Uber service locally to those in no condition to drive.
