Bhubaneswar : Noted Odia music director Abhijit Majumdar’s health shows steady improvement at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. After being treated in the ICU since his admission on September 4, Majumdar has been shifted to the medicine ward, indicating a positive turn in his condition.

Majumdar’s pneumonia is improving, and he has been weaned off ventilator support, now relying on oxygen support. His renal and liver functions are reported to be normal, and his vitals are stable.

Majumdar was initially admitted to a private hospital in Cuttack before being shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar due to complications from hypertension, hyperthyroidism, liver disease, pneumonia, and severe lung infections.
